A 7-Day Structured Path to Playing With Both Hands

This free training camp is built around a tight, day-by-day schedule rather than an open-ended curriculum. It starts with keyboard fundamentals — key layout, fingering, time signatures, and simplified numbered notation — before moving into two practical pieces: the melody of a popular song and a beginner arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon played with both hands.

Who It's For

Complete beginners are welcome; the course explicitly requires no prior ability to read staff notation. You will need a piano, electric piano, or keyboard with at least 61 keys — a roll-up keyboard is not recommended.

Course Structure

• An introductory unit covering keyboard layout, fingering, time signatures, notation, and the sustain pedal
• Days 1–3: the right-hand melody of a well-known pop song, section by section
• Days 4–7: a two-hand beginner arrangement of Canon, broken into four sections
• An optional advanced challenge: an upgraded Canon accompaniment
