Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 July 2026

This policy explains what information Korshub collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately short and plain. If anything is unclear, please ask.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and profile image when you sign in with Google or an email and password.
  • Deal-alert preferences: the email address, categories, and platforms you choose when subscribing to alerts.
  • Creator and billing information: for creators, listing details and the payment information processed by our payment providers (we never store full card numbers).
  • Usage data: pages viewed and deals clicked, collected in aggregate to improve the catalogue and measure which deals are useful.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and secure the service: to authenticate your account, send the deal alerts and transactional emails you ask for, process creator subscriptions, review listings, and understand which deals and features learners find valuable.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never share your email address with course creators or advertisers.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (such as a dismissed announcement). We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and Google AdSense to show advertising; these set analytics and advertising cookies and share data with Google. For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland we ask for consent first through a cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the footer. You can also block cookies in your browser, though signing in may then not work.

4. Sharing and third parties

We share data only with the providers that make Korshub work:

  • Course platforms: when you click a deal, you're taken to the course's own platform (for example Udemy or Coursera), which has its own privacy policy.
  • Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics and Google AdSense; see Google's privacy policy for how they process this data.
  • Payment processors: Stripe and Razorpay handle creator subscription payments securely.
  • Email delivery: we use Resend to send verification, alert, and transactional emails.
  • Hosting and infrastructure: our application and database run on reputable cloud providers.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account or unsubscribe, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we're required to retain records (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time. Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can close your account from your settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we'll respond promptly.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information and to notify you promptly in the unlikely event of a breach that affects you.

8. Children

Korshub is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use Korshub after a change means you accept the updated policy.
