UdemyThis course walks through drawing a portrait of Marilyn Monroe entirely inside Paintology, a free digital drawing app available on the Google Play Store. Rather than covering the whole app, it focuses on one technique: building a photorealistic result using a single brush tool called shade, varying only its size and tone and zooming in for fine detail.
Once you're comfortable with that guided, tool-assisted approach, the course also demonstrates transitioning to freehand drawing within the same portrait, showing how the underlying shading skill carries over when you stop relying on guides.
Drawing in any medium such as pencils, charcoal or pastels, allows you to continuously develop and shape your techniques. This includes drawing in the digital medium using the free Paintology app available from the google play store.
Paintology has made the task of drawing easier than ever before with it's highly intuitive interface but powerful tools capable of doing photo realistic drawings.
In this portrait drawing of Marilyn Munroe, we use one brush tool 'shade' to create this piece. We simply change the brush size vary the tones and zoom in for the finer detailed drawing.
As you get more comfortable with the drawing, you can migrate to drawing freehand which I also show you in this drawing.
