Taught by Inten, an instructor originally from Bali, this beginner course covers the basics of Bahasa Indonesia. It grew out of her experience teaching Indonesian online, where many students wanted a foundation before traveling to Bali, while others were simply drawn to the language and culture on their own.

Who it's for

Complete beginners, whether you're preparing for a trip to Indonesia or just interested in learning a new language for its own sake. No prior knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is assumed.

What to expect

The course is scoped to get you through the fundamentals so that, by the end, you can hold a simple conversation with an Indonesian speaker. It's framed less as an academic language course and more as a practical, culturally grounded introduction from a native speaker who clearly enjoys sharing her country's language.
