This course moves beyond syntax to focus on the actual analytical workflow. It is ideal for aspiring data analysts who need to handle messy, real-world data and translate it into business insights.
Pandas is one of the most important Python libraries for data analysis, but learning individual Pandas commands is only the beginning.
This course teaches you how to use Pandas the way a real data analyst uses it: to load, inspect, clean, transform, combine, analyze, and communicate insights from real-world datasets.
You will start by learning the core Pandas workflow, including DataFrames, importing CSV and Excel files, inspecting datasets, selecting and filtering data, sorting, unique values, value counts, aggregation, groupby, conditional transformations, merge, concat, missing-value handling, date and time analysis, string operations, pivot tables, reshaping, and exploratory data analysis.
But this course goes beyond syntax.
You will apply Pandas to practical data-analysis problems and learn how individual techniques fit together inside a professional analytical workflow. You will work with messy data, identify data-quality problems, clean datasets, combine information from multiple sources, calculate business metrics, analyze trends, and turn your analysis into meaningful business findings.
The course includes practical portfolio projects designed around realistic business scenarios.
You will build an e-commerce sales analysis project where you clean transaction data, combine customer and product datasets, calculate revenue and order metrics, analyze products and regions, study customer behavior, analyze monthly performance, and produce final management findings.
You will then move into customer analytics and product and inventory analysis, applying Pandas to increasingly realistic analytical questions.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
• Work confidently with Pandas DataFrames
• Load and inspect real-world datasets
• Identify and fix common data-quality problems
• Handle missing values and duplicates
• Filter, sort, group, and aggregate data
• Create calculated analytical metrics
• Combine datasets using merge and concat
• Work with dates and strings
• Create pivot tables and reshape data
• Perform exploratory data analysis
• Analyze customers, products, sales, and business performance
• Turn raw data into meaningful business findings
• Build practical projects that can support your Data Analyst portfolio
This course is designed for students who want to develop practical Pandas skills for data analysis rather than simply memorize syntax.
If your goal is to become more confident working with real datasets and use Python as part of a professional data-analysis workflow, this course will give you a practical foundation with projects you can continue building on.
