This is day five of a structured six-day program that follows a learner named Shien as she picks up Swedish, letting you learn alongside her rather than through a traditional lecture format.
Where this fits
By this point in the series, the goal is to be able to follow and hold daily conversations entirely in Swedish. The course builds directly on the four lessons before it, so it's meant to be taken in sequence rather than as a standalone lesson.
What comes next
Completing day six opens the door to the SWEDEX proficiency test, which provides an official certificate of your Swedish ability. The instructor is upfront that the series is designed to make you independently conversational in Swedish first, with dedicated SWEDEX test prep as a separate, additional step.
Who it's for
Learners who have already completed days one through four and are ready to keep building toward real conversational fluency.
About this course
This is the fifth day of the 6-day program to learn Swedish alongside Shien. You follow her as she is learning and at this point you'll understand and be able to make daily conversations completely in Swedish.
Upon finishing day 6 you can take the SWEDEX test. This will give you an official certificate of your Swedish proficiency and you will be able to use to when you find work using your Swedish skill. Note however, that this course is created to make you independent in the Swedish language and not to study for a single test so I recommend you practice for the test as well when you're done with day 6.
Make sure you have already studied the previous 4 courses before you start with this one. They are all systematically built together.
