Designed for public health professionals, program managers, and future MCH leaders who want to move beyond treating symptoms to addressing root causes affecting women and families.
We will investigate maternal and child health from a multidisciplinary social justice perspective. This course then explores the developmental, demographic, epidemiological, economic, political, behavioral, and social characteristics unique to the health and their impact on the well-being of women, children, and families. This course provides insights into leadership and advocacy issues of greatest importance to Maternal and Child Health experts.
